Intellian i9P is the satellite antenna system which includes an 85cm (33.5”) dish diameter, a 2-axis satellite tracking antenna system, designed and manufactured so as to automatically identify, track and capture the DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) and DVB-S2 format satellite signal. The i9P provides the embedded auto skew angle control system to maintain the optimal signal strength and increase the quality of satellite receptions in weak satellite single coverage area. 

Intellian i9P is a digital satellite antenna system designed specifically for all types of vessels (Anchored or transit) to automatically identify, track and capture satellite signals from the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB: the international standard for digital TV transmissions) and DVB-S2 compatible Satellites. Specifically, Intellian i9P supports Wide Range Search (WRS) algorithm, which minimizes the search time at initial state.  

Intellian i9P also offers Dynamic Beam Tilting (DBT) technology, which dynamically shapes the antenna beam to utilize stabilization. Once a satellite is acquired, the antenna DBT continuously measures the heading, pitch, and roll of a vessel by obtaining satellite signal level around the antenna point, and transmits commands to the antenna motors to keep the antenna pointed at a satellite at all times. This active stabilization is enhanced by a conical scan tracking function to detect and lock onto the strongest signal; resulting in the clearest reception possible.

The system is comprised of two major sections.  The Antenna Unit is comprised solely of the antenna radome assembly which is mounted on a ship’s upper deck or mast location chosen for the best satellite reception to minimize blockages by mast structure or funnel and interference with other ship’s navigation and communication systems such as marine radars, radio and magnet compass etc. The Antenna Control Unit (ACU) and all other ancillary equipment can be mounted in various locations on a ship.

Intellian WorldView Trio LNB Provides Global Coverage
Gone are the days of reconfiguring complex systems, and manually changing out LNBs with each crossover into a new satellite service area. Intellian's WorldView Trio LNB technology enables reception of all Ku-Band satellites around the globe. The WorldView Trio LNB module is programmed to select each satellite automatically, allowing mariners to enjoy any satellite TV service by simply selecting the correct satellite from a drop down menu and connecting the corresponding receiver. The LNB automatically switches to the correct polarization and local frequency required by the satellite service provider.

Simultaneous Reception
The s100HD WorldView antenna system with its triple feed horn simultaneously receives signals from two DIRECTV Ka-Band satellites and one DIRECTV Ku-Band satellite. This allows viewing of all DIRECTV HD channels without manually changing the satellites, for an uninterrupted viewing experience.

The Earth Stations on Vessels (ESV) is used to enable broadband access, data communication, and telephony via an established satellite link, operating in the fixed satellite service while the vessels are traveling near the coast or on the high seas.

Intellian v130G is designed to track the satellite with great precision to response the ship’s motion in the rough seas conditions. The v130G consists of two major units, the antenna unit and the antenna control unit (ACU), which offers user-friendly operation interface and easy connections to the variety of satellite modems and gyrocompass. In addition, the ACU has an embedded self-diagnosis function and can be remote accessed by the supplied PC program through the TCP/IP protocol.

With its high-efficiency 1.25m (49.2”) dish, the v130G is designed to meet the requirements of ESV for receiving and transmitting the data via Ku-band frequency. Once the v130G is installed, it makes target satellite setting a breeze and optimizes satellite-tracking parameters automatically. The v130G can be easily configured in a variety of ways in other words of LNB, BUC and modem to accomplish individual application needs.

To guarantee the highest performance and reliability, Intellian designs and engineers all of its antennas' major RF components, control boards, pedestal parts, and radome in house, optimized for rough marine application through the most stringent environmental testing standards, which are much severer than a typical experienced marine equipment condition. The v130G has an unlimited azimuth range for continuous tracking without unwrapping the cables in the antenna.

The wide elevation range from minus 20- degrees to 120-degrees enables the v130G to have seamless signal reception while the vessel is traveling near the equator or Polar Regions.

The Earth Stations on Vessels (ESV) is used to enable broadband access, data communication, and telephony via an established satellite link, operating in the fixed satellite service while the vessels are traveling near the coast or on the high seas.

Intellian v130G is designed to track the satellite with great precision to response the ship’s motion in the rough seas conditions. The v130G consists of two major units, the antenna unit and the antenna control unit (ACU), which offers user-friendly operation interface and easy connections to the variety of satellite modems and gyrocompass. In addition, the ACU has an embedded self-diagnosis function and can be remote accessed by the supplied PC program through the TCP/IP protocol.

With its high-efficiency 1.25m (49.2”) dish, the v130G is designed to meet the requirements of ESV for receiving and transmitting the data via Ku-band frequency. Once the v130G is installed, it makes target satellite setting a breeze and optimizes satellite-tracking parameters automatically. The v130G can be easily configured in a variety of ways in other words of LNB, BUC and modem to accomplish individual application needs.

To guarantee the highest performance and reliability, Intellian designs and engineers all of its antennas' major RF components, control boards, pedestal parts, and radome in house, optimized for rough marine application through the most stringent environmental testing standards, which are much severer than a typical experienced marine equipment condition. The v130G has an unlimited azimuth range for continuous tracking without unwrapping the cables in the antenna.

The wide elevation range from minus 20- degrees to 120-degrees enables the v130G to have seamless signal reception while the vessel is traveling near the equator or Polar Regions.

The v240C requires minimal involvement to commission, is easy to operate, and is simple to upgrade and manage.
Each unit comes preloaded with a ready-to-use, clientcustomized library that can be conveniently tailored further via PC software (also included with the unit), and firmware updates can be done entirely through the Wi-Fi ACU.  Wi-Fi router enables easy connection and control of ACU, allowing operators to check the status of the VSAT.  The all new Antenna Control Unit (ACU) supports Wi-Fi connectivity for a simple remote PC connection.

Intellian v240C antenna automatically changes between linear and circular polarization while it does not require manual or physical change. When a polarization is selected from ACU or PC Control Program, the Feed Horn is automatically adjusted accordingly, which is patented technology developed by Intellian.

When a target satellite or operational frequency is selected from the ACU or the Aptus® program, the patented band changing assembly is automatically adjusted.
