Intellian’s v100PM is 1 meter Ku band stabilized antenna which converts easily to a Ka band service terminal in the coming years. The v100PM is specifically designed for use in military applications and, as such, meets the required specifications thereof. The military market requires a solution which provides excellent performance in Ku band, an easy upgrade path to Ka band, and a rugged, purpose-built design at a COTS price point. The v100PM meets and exceeds all of these needs.

The antenna’s robust, but lighter weight pedestal design enables easy conversion from Ku to Ka band. A simple process allows shipboard personnel to replace the BUC/LNB assembly and antenna feed via a slide in/slide out procedure that involves a total of 8 fasteners. The entire process can be completed via the radome access hatch as opposed to removing the entire radome in the field. This design reduces the possibility of severe antenna damage and generates significant savings on labor cost of highly specialized technicians.

Finally, the Antenna Control Unit (ACU) for the v100PM and associated electronics are newly designed to comply with industry trend such as remote IP based managed system and simple cabling with neighboring equipment and also provide interfaces to take advantage of Intellian’s Aptus software, a highly intuitive, graphically-based antenna control software.

The Earth Stations on Vessels (ESV) is used to enable broadband access, data communication, and telephony via an established satellite link, operating in the fixed satellite service while the vessels are traveling near the coast or on the high seas.

Intellian v130G is designed to track the satellite with great precision to response the ship’s motion in the rough seas conditions. The v130G consists of two major units, the antenna unit and the antenna control unit (ACU), which offers user-friendly operation interface and easy connections to the variety of satellite modems and gyrocompass. In addition, the ACU has an embedded self-diagnosis function and can be remote accessed by the supplied PC program through the TCP/IP protocol.

With its high-efficiency 1.25m (49.2”) dish, the v130G is designed to meet the requirements of ESV for receiving and transmitting the data via Ku-band frequency. Once the v130G is installed, it makes target satellite setting a breeze and optimizes satellite-tracking parameters automatically. The v130G can be easily configured in a variety of ways in other words of LNB, BUC and modem to accomplish individual application needs.

The v65 can be converted from Ku-band operation to Ka- band in as little as 10 minutes through use of a compact, intuitive conversion kit (sold separately).

Intellian’s high efficiency RF design delivers superior antenna gain and cross-pol isolation over all other 60cm class systems, enabling higher data rates and enhanced global services.

The v65G is designed as a flexible communications platform built to meet the unique needs of any customer while maintaining commonality of spare parts. In Ku- band configuration, the system comes standard equipped with NJRC’s 8W EXT Mini BUC, but can also support 4W and 16W variants out of the box. Ka-band configuration includes the NJRC 5W BUC.

Shipped without any stow brackets and now featuring external RF cable connections on the radome base, there is no need to remove the radome of the v65G during installation, saving time and cost. Intelian’s Gyro-free satellite search function further simplifies installation by providing the option to track satellites without any input from the ship’s gyro-compass.

Two Antennas - One Modem

SAILOR 900 VSAT can operate two antenna systems on a single modem without the need for an extra box to manage that feature. More Flexibility

During the coming years, new high throughput satellites (HTS) will come online. Most of the new HTS will operate on Ka-bands.
